The Punjab Fisheries Department was founded in 1912 to manage, conserve, and develop the inland fisheries resources of Punjab. We provide fish seed through hatcheries, offer soil & water testing, disease diagnosis, and hands-on training to fish farmers. Our mission is to strengthen the aquaculture sector through science-based solutions and public-private partnership, ensuring quality fish supply and improved nutrition for all.
